Personal profile

Research

I am interested in interdisciplinary research in topics in Organic Chemistry and Molecular Biology/Microbiology for application in medicine and biotechnology. In particular, my research investigates design and synthesis of small molecules called peptoids as well as using them as building blocks for synthesis of bio-inspired polymers. My research interest also include proteome analysis of bacterial persister cells in deciphering metabolic networks and mechanism of action of novel antimicrobial compounds-peptoids.
