The research group investigates the sciences – the human and social as well as the natural and technical sciences – and their interplay with human values and practices. We aim to create new understanding of theoretical questions, historical connections and societal challenges, such as environmental problems and the transformation of higher education. A deeper understanding of these questions, connections and challenges are not only interesting in regard to the sciences themselves, but also from a broader democratic perspective.
