74 per cent of Danes thinks that public service news media are important for society, shows a study by researchers at Roskilde University’s Centre for News Research, published in connection with this year’s Digital News Report from the Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford. The Danish researchers find the biggest difference in the variable of “political interest”. If your political interest is high, you are more likely to regard public service news media as important. The Digital News Report 2023 contains information about media usage in, among other countries, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
