Description

This conference will consist of three panels. The first panel will present the key findings from a Wellcome Trust funded project on violence, health and everyday (non)life in Gaza. The second panel will invite representatives from International Organisations engaged in Gaza to reflect on these findings in discussion with key practitioners on the ground in Gaza. The third and final panel will be a comparative panel about violence, health and everyday (non)life in extreme cases of violence including Myanmar, South Africa and Colombia.
