Human Capital Conference - organized by HR UP Group, a conference gathering over 100 HR professionals in Bucharest, Romania.

Romania is the least digitalized country in EU, according to the Digital Economy and Society Index compiled by the European Commission, while Denmark, the country where I have conducted my studies, is one of the most Digitalized Countries.

There are clear differences when it comes to what knowledge workers experience in Romania in relation to technostress, and perhaps one of the most notables ones are related to #availability - which is even more expected on the workers side. Workers are using instant messaging services on their mobile phones to stay connected off work. This is perhaps also due to the lack of labour unions, who in Denmark are doing a good job at protecting workers' rights to a higher degree.

The news of the conference was also picked up by Forbes Romania and other major Romanian publications.
