Pulp Culture Comic Arts Festival and Symposium focused on trends in graphic novels and leading artists discussing the field.
It was sponsored by University of Vermont and their Special Collections (archives), the Vermont Folklife Center, The Fleming Museum and the Center for Cartoon Studies.

Keynote presentations by Art Spiegelman, Joe Sacco  and Alison Bechdel and panel discussions among over 40 cartoonists from New England and Quebec.
Panels included Graphic Medicine, Arts Journalism.
I was accepted for participation in workshop "Drawing from the Past: A Nonfiction Comics Workshop".
Teaching artist Marek Bennett led this hands-on, non-fiction comics lab featuring historical archives with materials (such as Civil War photos) provided by the Vermont Folklife Center and UVM Special Collections.
