Description
Postcolonialism has had a strong presence in Anglophone discourse, and increasingly in Francophone, Lusophone, but less markedly in Scandinavian countries. Yet Denmark has had one of the longest reigning empires in Europe and has arguably not dismantled it yet. Greenland, on the other hand, is going through a phase of increased self-determination. What does this mean for the development of Greenlandic-Danish relations, and what constitutes a Greenlandic postcoloniality?
