Activity: Talk or presentation › Lecture and oral contribution
Description
The presentation will show how the lab has worked with a post-disciplinary and artsbased approach to urban ecologies, both in mapping and creating urban ecologies. Through arts-based and site-responsive spatial practice the lab works from a situated and action-research urban environmental change. The presentation will give examples of former arts-based workshops and collaborations, among others the siteresponsive reenactment of Francis Alÿs, Sometimes doing something leads to Nothing, Going Visiting with Choreographer Nanna Francisca Shöttlander, More-than human Commons with environmental activists and artists in Becoming Species. Finally, we will open the discussion to how your artistic practice or urban curating can contribute to the recreation of urban ecologies and the commons.
