Description
What performance design methods are needed to manifest participatory and meaningful engaged modes of urbanism; for overcoming existing disciplinary borders in urban planning and design; for mobilizing collective investments in place, galvanizing action, and addressing urgent urban issues?· Reciprocally, what lessons for performance design practice can we learn from recent and past histories of urban planning and design?
· What impact does scenography, overflowing from the prescribed stage into the city, have on the social and spatial production of urban commons?
· How can expanded scenographic knowledge/sensibilities/practices be methodologically utilized for critical urban research in order to mediate and understand our experience of smart (intelligent) and sustainable cities?
