What will the next pandemic be, and how can we prepare for it? What role does mistrust in the health authorities play in the spread of infectious disease?Pandemics such as Covid-19 and Ebola and endemic diseases like tuberculosis, HIV and malaria threaten global health, and we need to collaborate across nations and disciplines if we wish to manage these threats and their implications for society. This track will explore the challenges associated with managing infectious diseases – and the impact that pandemics have on our societal structure and economy.
