As part of the Performance Design in Action series in the Fall 2018, we have invited scholars that work practice and arts-based in various disciplinary fields. For the "Architecture in the Expanded Field, architects and lecturer José Abásolo and Juan Pablo Corvelán Hochberger, director of Universidad de las Americas in Chile were in invited to talk about their highly cross-disciplinary teaching in architecture and urban spatial practices. Engaging with local communities and working with urban interventions to solve urgent problems in local neighboorhods in Santiago, the inspirational talks pointed to a variety of similar practices between Roskilde University, Performance Design, and the experimental Architecture School Universidad de Las Americas.
