    I have worked for 15 years in Australian studies, I have also written a Danish guide book to Australia, taken Danish tourists around Australia, and spent long periods of time in Australia. What kind of position does that grant me in relation to definitions of Australian Studies? What are the kinds of themes, and approaches which I think Australian Studies should concern itself with in the future?
