Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstract Do you know the feeling of waiting on a train on a crowded platform and not knowing whether or not you will find a seat inside the train? Often the answer is moving further down the platform. But how can we get travellers to realize this? We are trying to solve this problem in our assignment. We have chosen this subject, because of our own experiences in our everyday life. Based on the social theory of Erving Goffman and the Actor-network-theory we have observed the behavior of people on the train platforms and reconstructed the platform. To create the best design we have used the theory of nudge. We have chosen to call this design ”Vidensstien”. The design is formed as a path of light that leads you down the platform with fun facts and rhetorical questions along the way.
