Abstrakt

In our project of Danish politics, we concentrate on the Danish political parties, and their change from ideological to strategically planning in relation to the Danish media in order to gain votes during the election process. We analyze potential consequences of this behaviour in the Danish society among the parties, with a focus on the Danish Liberal Party, Venstre, and the strategies which the Chairman and Primeminister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, express in his biography. With a theoretical focus on Pierre Bourdieu and Anthony Giddens, we research where we can see comparable behaviour of Venstre and the sociological structure, which Giddens describes. Furthermore, we would like to analyze the consequences through Bourdieu’s theories, in order to expose potential problems which this tendency might lead to.
