This paper serves as documentation for my internship at ‘Ungedemokratiet‘ which lasted from september to december 2013. The aim is to highlight the issues that have followed from my attempts of theory transfer. Following this undertaking I employ the use of learning theorists Paul Hager & Phil Hodkinson and Christian Helms Jørgensen in an effort to discuss the cause of the before mentioned issues. Furthermore the project puts forth the question whether transfering textbook theory and theoretical models to a dynamic workplace context is a beneficial practice. The project concludes that the issues are probably caused by the fact that I have been influenced by an educational understanding of leaning while situated in a workplace context. Thus the greatest challange has been to move beyond the frame of the educational learning discourse and expand my view on learning mechanics.
