This project examines whether commercials have an impact on the perception teenage girls have of their bodies and whether said commercials aid in promoting an eating disorder. We have conducted a series of interviews and made use of several theories. We have decided to produce a commercial, the purpose of which is to inform teenage girls about the underlying mechanisms of commercials while placing more emphasis on realistic body perceptions. All in all we wish to promote the health of body perception within the framework of society.
