Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

The constant technological development has resulted in a dependency of the internet that comes close to an actual addiction. This paper shows how young people, who have grown up with technology, uses and perceive web-based news reading, as well as the construction of news pages. Statistics have shown that the primary source for young people, who read news, has become the internet. The consequences of news moving away from the traditional paper based media and onto the internet are critical for the immersion and concentration of the reader. This paper shows how web based news are lacking in immersion, and manipulating their consumers. This paper studies furthermore the news consumption of the young people and the tendencies within this consumption. Through the analyses of the web-based Medias influence on the human brain, this paper has constructed a design that faces these needs for concentration and immersion.
