Alejandro M. Savio

Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project is about the relationship between tradition and modernity in 1920’s modern architecture, which is represented in this project by some of the works of the architects Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius and Mies van der Rohe. The project discusses and inquires how well founded is the common notion that modernity is a break with tradition in this context. The question of tradition and modernity is mainly seen in relation to the aspects of technology and style.
