Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

In this project several theories of happiness will be discussed in order to determine which one provides the fullest explanation. Part of the motivation for this project is a request by the TitiBo group which is an organisation that works to increase happiness in children aged three to five in kindergartens and day care institutions. Different forms of happiness will be evaluated such as eudaimonia and hedonia, which are long term and short term respectively. The terms subjective and psychological well being, as well as the concept of flow will be defined. The field of positive psychology which deals with improving the quality of life, rather than just fixing mental issues, will be discussed.
