Abstrakt

This paper studies a project, which revolves around the topic “motivation”, and how it has meaning
towards people. Motivation has throughout time, been a very important and topical theme, in human
relations. Because of the way the word has association with people and this study will answer the
main question:
“How does The Burger Ringsted's economical situation look like and how can the management
motivate their employees?”
by using the motivational concept. To answer this question, this project has used theories, which
consists of the "Lars F. model" the goal-settings theory, the Expectancy theory and Herzberg’s twofactor
theory. These theories are used to backup the project by giving an insight in the economical
state of The Burger Ringsted and the motivation of their employers and what has to be done to raise
the employee’s motivation. The factors in which plays a role for the employer’s motivation are
promotion, salary and responsibility. This project has concluded that the economical state of The
Burger Ringsted has had a great rise in 2016 compared to 2015. To have a comparable rise the
following years, The Burger Ringsted needs to use the motivations factors for the employees, as has
been explained in the analyzes because motivated employees can and will do their jobs better which
also means better customer service, which will ensure that the customers are happy and are willing
to return, and in turn will mean that The Burger Ringsted will have profit and a positive economical
rise.
