This thesis seeks to explore a study of the organization Søren Jensen Rådgivende Ingeniørfirma. The aim is to identify leadership challenges in a perspective of Team of Teams and how the teamleader foster team efficiency. This project will investigate these leadership challenges using semi structured interviews. The interviews will be constructed, and later analysed, using McChrystal’s understanding of Team of Teams. The analysis of this empirical evidence obtained, will additionally be analysed using Zaccaro’s understanding of Teamleadership in order to understand how the teamleader foster team efficiency. The identified challenges can be found as when the teamleaders fail to convey the common goals in the team, and it is important for the teamleader to have an overview. It can also be conclusion that the teamleader foster efficiency by setting a formal framework and guidelines for the team.
