Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

The project examines how opinions and sensemaking surrounding the subject of organ donation occurs amongst young people between 16-20 years of age. The purpose for this is to gain information and feedback from the specified target group to further develop the website prototype TagStilling.nu. We attempt to obtain this understanding by executing group interviews with two groups of students in the ages 16-18 from Bornholms Gymnasium. As framework for analysis, the project applies a narrative research approach in order to understand how the students talk about themselves and the subject of organ donation. These narratives are divided into different themes of investigation, before being studied using the concept of key narratives. In addition, the project follows a train of thought inspired by Louise Phillips‟ understanding of dialogic communications theory, in order to provide the best possible framework for investigating. Ultimately, we are provided with sufficient feedback on the website as well as an improved insight in their understanding of the subject of organ donation that can be applied in further development of the communication product.
