Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project treats the topic of digitalized lecturing as regard to iPads. The specific question that is being researched throughout this project is the following: How does the use of tablets in primary schools influence the class’ relations and learning? To assess this, “participant observation” has been used as a method, which means that the project’s empiricism is based on observations conducted by the writers behind this project. To support this method, theories developed by Ole Dreier and Charlotte Højholt have been applied to the project as well. Their conceptions all fall under the “critical psychology”. As a supplement to the theory we have included a text regarding understanding of technology. The analyzing part of the project is divided into categories based on different factors we observed that we believe could have an impact on lecturing with iPads. This leads to a discussion of whether our observations can be generalized. The discussion part will include a critical assessment of the quality of the project. Finally this discussion will be summed up in a conclusion, where we will answer the main question of the project.
