Abstrakt

A study of how selected Danish short stories alludes the myth og Adam and Eve and the fall. The study includes the theory of psychoanalysis which helps to explain how humans are driven by their sexual drives when they go through the transition from child to adult. In the report it is concluded that the themes as well as the narrative structure known from the myth can be found in much contemporary literature because of its universality. The same is true for the symbols known from the myth. The short story Villy by Charlotte Weitze is analyzed as part of the argumentation. Finally this report comes up with some reflections on how fiction analysis can be communicated to high school students in the best way
