Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

Governance in a perspective of security This project attempts to examine governance in the perspective of security through the study of search zones in order to adoption, foundation and maintenance of these. The project attempts to a foucauldian method approach, in which social phenomenons contemplate, and therefore contribute to the analysis. The project has clarified how the government applies three technologies – police, discourse and statistics to justify the policy during the initiative of search zones. Furthermore the project attempts to clarify how the dispositive of security has been the dominating dispositive and the present dispositive during adoption, foundation and maintenance. By means of the project’s theoretical grounding, Niccoló Machiavelli, Thomas Hobbes, Michel Foucault and Ole Wæver’s, and through these theories, the dispositive of security has been studied, and clarified to be the dominating dispositive and present for which reason the search zones are example of.
