Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

This paper examines a hypothesis, that the nature can be stress relieving and how the na-ture may help to prevent an increasing stress rate for students in Copenhagen. The pur-pose of this study has a design oriented approach, which aims to propose a solution that encourage students to increase a more frequent use of nature and thereby help to prevent stress. The project will be approached with Alan R. Hevners Design Science Research model, which has a system of principles that leads to a particular method in the design so-lution. The design solution is based on qualitative and quantitative interviews with stu-dents living in Copenhagen supported by theories from Ann-Magreth Berggren-Bjärring, Ulrika Stigsdotter & Patrik Grahn. Thus, this paper examines how to prevent stress nor to compare to curing, several connections can be find to both and therefore be implemented to a design oriented solution that helps to prevent stress for the youth in Copenhagen.
