The following project aims to investigate the scarcity resources influence on strategic choices in football club, Lyngby Boldklub A/S. The report is based on Lyngby Boldklub’s case and a comparative analysis made between Lyngby Boldklub and AC Horsens. Lyngby Boldklub and AC Horsens was selected due to their periodically similarities and similar strategies, in despite of this AC Horsens has had greater success. In the report there has been made use of Henry Mintzbergs theory on strategic management and Schlesinger and Hesketts theory on the cycles of success and cycles of failure. Furthermore there has been made use of earlier processing of financial data relevant to the economical analysis. In the examination it is concluded that investing in motivational factors is crucial to the athletic performance.
