This socio-scientific study’s purpose is to examine Denmark and more specifically the Central banks execution of the monetary/exchange-rate policies in Denmark. The study takes point of departure in two selected quantitative methods, herein two executed interviews and a selected analysis of documents. The study involves a cross-curricular science, based on the political and economic angles which has the purpose of clarifying how the fixed exchange-rate policy has worked throughout the latest decades, and how the competitiveness has worked in relation to this. The actual speculation upon the crown in the new year has put the fixed exchange-rate policy to question, so therefore based on this socially orientated event we have found it relevant to discover the actual case thoroughly. The fixed exchange-rate policy has never been more discussed in the financial world, primarily because of the reduced interest rate, which is under 0%.
