Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

The subject researched in this report, is regarding the solidarity of RUC-students and the background for it, when it comes to black labour. The initial report, founding the interest, was made by SKAT and is concerning the apparent fall in acceptance of black labour in Denmark. This subject was researched by making seven interviews with students and a survey. These were included in an analysis of solidarity and the background of it, founded on theories as Alejandro Portes’ bounded solidarity, Max Weber’s social actions and enforceable trust together with Durkheim’s individualism. This case-study concludes, that the students involved has a tendency to bound their solidarity to social groups, they can directly relate to. Moreover it’s also concluded, that there is also a trend for acting according to self- interest before the good of the society.
