Social værdi, relationer og netværk - en undersøgelse af social værdiskabelse i et konkret projekt: Fritidsjobkonsulenterne Sydhavnen/Sjælør. Abstract With roots in the public daycare, education of children and social workers, we are very preoccupied with different approaches to help solve the challenge marginalized young people meet, when they are on the threshold of choosing their way in life. The project we have researched is a social entrepreneurish enterprise that is founded by a local branch of a national building society and the municipal, with the aim to help young people age 13 to 17, living in a low resource area to get a after- school job. This project, “Fritidsjobkonsulenterne” is a network surrounding the young people of the area and is regarded as a success. We set out to research, what lay behind this success and how did it show to be successful. To do so, we choose to look at the changes that occurred in the youngsters’ life on a micro level, but also how the network operates and the relations within the network. In order to capture this complex reality, we have made a number of qualitative interviews, restricted to the cooperation partners in Sydhavnen. Quite early in the process we gave up the idea of finding SROI (Social Return of Interest) values to validate the success. Instead we turned to look at the enterprise through the Morphological Process introduced by P. Donati in 2014, and to illuminate the detectable changes for the young people, we could extract from the interviews, we used E. Barinagas model “the Social Change Matrix” (Barinaga 2012). Our research revealed a network mainly consisting of informal relationship, where most of the cooperators had little or no direct involvement in “Fritidsjobkonsulenterne”, but related to the network purely by personal interest and gain. Even so, we could detect a vast improvement for the young people and their personal skills. The overall conclusion on this paper is, that it is possible to show results and a production of social value of this particularly social project, only by addressing the social change we identify with the young people. We also found, that the mainly informal relation in the network was a profit regarding to operational opportunity, where as they did not contribute very much to the maintenance and development of the network. On that part it is entirely up to the social entrepreneur, who leads the project.
