Although the price for data on the home market has decreased considerably in the recent years the price for data abroad has not. This thesis provides an analysis of the current market situation and the players involved. Methods of analysis include quantitative market research, Porter’s five forces, PEST-model and an economic appraisal of the project and its possible outcome. The industry is found to be highly attractive and the potential clients to be interested in using the product from the business idea indicating that the product will turn out to be a profitable adventure.
