The purpose of this project is to develop a 2D fighting game using the Java language. One of the main ambitions is to achieve a flexible and modular code, which will later be easy to extend, modify and use. An analysis on the end users experience generates eight functional requirements. The best implementation for achieving the overall goal of flexibilty and for meeting the specified requirements is designed and then implemented. The developed code is presented and outlined to create an overview of it. Tests have been carried out and are then presented. There has not been developed enough code to fulfill all the requirements, but it is clear that the code satisfies the requirements that can be tested. The report concludes that a flexible and modular code has been developed and that the project as a whole has been succesfull.
