The purpose of this paper is to discuss which impacts help shape a serial killer. To do so the paper will include three different theories that will all show different aspects of how a serial killer may be created. The theories cover a sociological, psychological and biological viewpoint to demonstrate what drives a person to commit murder. To examine this problem the theories will be treated as arguments to what creates a serial killer and will later be discussed. The paper will study the case of Ted Bundy as he was a well-known serial killer who supposedly murdered around 100 women. The conclusion shows that not one of the theories exclude the other as they all make valid points in explaining what might cause a person to become a serial killer. There will be constant doubts regarding what creates a serial killer therefore speculations within this field will continue.
