This report is based on issues concerning the current platforms and their given information, which is currently available for students at Roskilde University. The report will go further into detail about the various methods, that we utilized to gather information about the current platform, and the process to remediate the problems we uncover.
The way Roskilde University has set up their platforms, has caused some unwanted trouble for the students studying at the university. The amount of information presented to the students and the way the platforms are designed, makes it tough for new and old students alike to understand the various platforms and easily access the information they’re looking for. The websites currently available hold crucial information that is needed for all the students attending the university, and as of this moment there has not been presented an alternative solution to these websites.
In our search for a solution, we used various methods of user requirement gathering exercises, such as interviews and questionnaires to look further into the problems and wishes of the students attending Roskilde University. The data we collected from user requirement gathering exercises helped us devise a solution, which would deliver the key functionality and information necessary for the students.
