Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This report examines the process of creating a website, focusing on functionality and usability. Working with a small bike deliverance company located in the centre of Copenhagen, we have created a new user friendly website, helping them attract more customers. We initially gathered empirical theories, as well as methods, on which we base our iterative design proces. During that proces we gradually improved the design and functionality of the website, by involving website users. Throughout the report, both the theories and methods are thoroughly modeled. The report places itself in the interchange between software development and design. Conclusionally we stress the importance of applying transparancy by giving the user a clear overview of the website, as well as implementing automatical modules, having a logical build up of the menubar and a clear and distinct purpose of the website.
