Re-design af Rema 1000's ordre bestillingsproces

This purpose of this paper is to look at the problems associated with the present ordering system
in Rema 1000, Præstefælledvej. These problems are sought to resolve through a re-design of
their ordering system. The main focus of the re-design is to involve the users throughout the
development process to understand their work practices and user requirements thereby develop
a re-design. To attain knowledge on the subject and the selected company two focus group
interviews with the owners and co-workers in the store was conducted, to gain insight on the
present ordering system and their requirements to a re-design of it, from their point of view.
Furthermore two interviews with merchants from other Rema 1000 stores are made to gain a
different perspective on the order situation. Based on knowledge about how user involvement
can be met through agile development, User Centered Design and the principles in the MUSTmethod
two analysis was made. These support the way of analyzing the problems in Rema
1000 ordering system. The first analysis is focused on finding the user requirements for a redesign
of the system, based on the presented problems the focus group presented. The second
analysis looks at the prerequisite for the project and the presentation of the user requirements
through a Use Case Diagram. Lastly the final design is presented.

This ends up in a discussion about how we met our methodological approach to user
involvement and how we can validate the results. The project concludes that the project through
its iterations and user involvement has made a re-design that meet the user requirements. The
requirements and the development of the system includes categories such as; special orders,
changing orders and seasonal goods. Through the use of more iteration the final design would
have been easier to implement in the organisation.
