This paper examines the danish University College Absalon and the implementation of a new e-learning platform. It investigates how Absalon is working on a new design, which incorporates both traditional education with elements from the e-learning platform. This paper makes use of three different theories sensemaking, co-creation and value-creation to comprehend the different aspects of the case, such as the organization, professors and students. Our empirical data have come from documents, interviews and an observation fully to understand the field of study. The study found that co-creation was part of Absalons innovations process and Absalon had great success inviting, both professors and students, to make their impact on the new design. The impact of sensemaking is clear in the organisation. Sensemaking occurs, through interactions with the students and hearing their experience with the educational design. Furthermore the study found that University College Absalon will be able to offer more value to their students by implementing the new educational design.
