This study will examine the various trends within political marketing on social medias; where our main focus is on the application Instagram. We will through theories and analysis examine how political marketing is being used, as a part of the political strategies, and how Instagram works as a political marketing tool. Furthermore, we will analyse the Instagram profiles of Det Radikale Venstre and Det Konservative Folkeparti. We will through these analyses, supplemented with interviews from each party, examine how each Instagram is being used by the party as a part of their marketing strategy, by analysing the pictures uploaded to their Instagram profile. The study concludes that Instagram is a promising tool within marketing, based on the visual possibilities, but that the voters of each party has lot to do with their overall success on the application.
