Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

In this project Peter Lundin, who is a four double murder, is object to an investigation where we try to understand what have happened in his family life which could lead on to an aberrant behavior. Furthermore what the causes of concrete disagreements between Lundins own autobiography and other sources are. The focus in the project is therefore overall to create an overview about what has influenced Lundins personality and development since he has become the person he is today. Through the readings and use of several sources it becomes clear that he has had a traumatic childhood including violence, alcoholism and betrayal. Therefore he has developed some sort of narcissistic behavioral patterns which effect his actions later on in his life. From sources we know that narcissism is a kind of self-deception and when Lundin is influenced by narcissism as well self-deception becomes present for him too. Whether the disagreements between the sources are caused by self-deception, deception or repression is difficult to decide but we suggest that deception is most likely in the majority of cases.
