Solid waste management is considered as a major issue in most of the countries in the world. Numerous studies and researches have been done on it many of times. We have chosen to investigate the system of solid waste management in Kathmandu city of Nepal to examine the area of implementing PANT system (incentive based system) like in Denmark through a focused study on the case of Doko Recyclers Company and case example on Blue waste to value as well as Clean up Nepal. The theory of co-production and circular economy are analysed as theoretical perspectives. Primly, qualitative data has been used in this report. Interviews were taken with the top-level managers of three companies as well as interview with the users. Collected data were analysed through thematic analysis. We conclude our research by examining waste management system and existing companies approaches on co-production and circular economy. The report is useful for social researchers and social entrepreneurs who want to study and set up social business in the field of waste management.
