This project aims to investigate under which circumstances students of Roskilde University manage their academic projects and how a digital collaboration system can accommodate their needs for e.g. communication and sharing files, knowledge etc. Through the usage of a dialogical process we have created an opportunity for the student target group to articulate their project related requirements and their working procedures, moreover give constructive feedback on our previously created product draft of our digital collaboration system. Furthermore, we established an opportunity for them to work creatively with the further development of the incorporated functions in a system as such. The empirical data gathered throughout this workshop is analyzed through the usage of an IT preliminary examination method called the MUST-method, to clarify and understand the project related problems, cause, consequences and development ideas. Afterwards we have used terms from W. Barnett Pearce's theory on dialogical communication to understand the dynamics between our participants with the goal of understanding how a dialogical method can prove successful in a digital development process.
