The aim of this project is to investigate how a contingency as Organisation for Personlig Rådgivning, whose purpose is to protect and ensure the psychological working environment in the Danish Army, has the opportunity to reduce stress, and with it ensuring a good psychological working environment among the employees. We conclude that the hierarchical structure determinates the organisation’s abil-ity to prevent the prevalence of stress among the employees. Furthermore as a result we discover that the only potential way where upon the organisation is able to work with ensuring the psychological working environment is on the basis of an individual and anonymous approach. We investigate this based upon interviews with employees in The Danish Army. Our theoretically stand is based upon the approach of social constructivism, Pierre Bourdieu and Richard Lazarus and research in working life studies.
