In this project, we have tried to find out how we could design a concept to create a holistic experience for the visitors of a technology fair through interaction design. This should provide knowledge about the technology at the fair and the state of technological development in general. Through theories about HCI, play, curiosity, and visitor behavior we have become more aware about, what perspectives our concept will include. We have used different design methods in the ideation and design of the concept. We have developed the concept for and in collaboration with Nordic Tech Playground (NTP) who holds the fair from November 30 to December 2, 2018. Especially through sketching, have we been able to get a common understanding of the design, both internally in our group and with NTP. The concept will consist of an Augmented Reality (AR) app, AR-storytellings, a division of the room of the fair in different colors, posters including an image target, and a brochure with information about the fair and a guide to our concept, which will include a QR-code for downloading of the AR-app. Finally, we have concluded, that through all these elements in the concept, we have developed an interaction design which provide a holistic experience while it provides knowledge about technology to the visitors. It is not only the interaction design which provides this knowledge, but also the holistic experience and the fair itself.
