With the opening of the 3.stage of the Metro, Copenhagen gained a faster connection to Copenhagen Airport, and thereby to the rest of the world. A connection, that linked Copenhagen better together, and at the same time improved Copenhagen as a metropolitan, in the inter-urban competition. “The Myth of the metro” seeks through a discourse theoretically view, to in light the clash between Amager Metro Gruppe and the local authorities actors in the decision making process as regards the third stage of the metro. The project problematize the new urban entrepreneurialistic development strategies, to understandings the spatial production, and the inter action between the global and local processes.
