In our project we are testing our gambling addiction campaign in a focus group interview. The campaign product we are testing is a cardgame and an articel distributed with a danish magazine called M! In the analysis we have a special focus on the incoding and decoding part with inspiration from Umberto Eco. The conlusion is based on the focus groups reception combined with theory and the product analysis(incoding part). The conclusion on the project was that the model reader from our incoding wasn't the right one especially when the focus group commented on the cardgame. But the articel was a bit stronger, but still the chosen pokerlanguage in both the cargame and the articel was confusing for our focus group. And the members of our chosen focus group could not see it self as part of our campains target group. On the positive side the cardgame might have a longer durability than the articel. The kombination with articel was able to support the understanding of the campaings message in the cards.
