Kulturstyrelsen, Danish Agency for Culture, has in the fall 2013 launched the app Fortællinger fra Fortiden, and the campaign for the app is aimed the 10-12-year-old kids. There has however not been conducted any audience analysis prior to the launch of the app and campaign material. This project is therefore based on an audience analysis, with the use of a qualitative method, which is investigating the barriers linked to not having tested the app and campaign material on the audience. It is concluded that the audience, when exposed to the campaign material, doesn’t have a subjective need for information, but this changes when they use the app. The project also includes an idea catalog with suggestions for improvement, which can be implemented in the campaign material and app in order to reach the audience.
