Abstrakt

This project report has its focus on the mobile sound systems culture developing in Copenhagen. The project thus offers a unique insight in this culture, and furhtermore interesting empirical findings in relation to Acoustic Territories, Urbanity and Soundscape theory. The project features seceral data gathering methods: 3 semi-structured interviews with owners of sound systems, 2 phenomenological cases of sound systems in action, and an audio documentation about the soundscape at the geographical pcase. The geographical case of the project is limited to Dronning Louises Bridge between the borough Nørrebro and the Inner City in Copenhagen, which has become a popular hang-out place for Copenhageners
