Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

This study examines the concept of second language learning in Denmark with focus on how second language learners negotiate their identities in relation to language learning and integration. By investigating three language learners’ acquisition of Danish through key theories on the field of second language learning, focus is centred on the subjects’ lived experiences of the learning process within their everyday lives and in the classroom. Through interviews and observations it can be concluded that the teachings do not necessarily match the language learners’ needs for entering Danish society.
