With the use of a focusgroupinterview and with the application of a critical psychological perspective, I try to examine how the participants in a specifik (primary School) teacherteam is confronted with a dilemma in relation to the emphasizing of the pupils social life and interests and the communication of teaching material and contents. In relation to this I try to understand how theese terms take part and forms the individual teachers relation to and understandig of practice, and his or her actionprospects/alternatives. Simultaneously I try to examine and understand, how the teachers in a collective way are trying to manage the earlier refered to dilemma, and how the collective management in the shape of convergent dealing with pupils, is offering actionpossibilities in the pursue of their interests, but at the same time is limiting or restrictive and mediate new and different dilemmas and problems.
