This project examines why only few women choose an education and a career within computer science. For this study, a five-phase design thinking model is used to determine how this problem can be solved through an event containing some performance perspectives. At the bottom of this page is an illustration of how we have used the model with additional methods. This study is analyzed with empowerment theory and theory about how space and things can be part of a performance. In this project we conclude that the event we designed made a difference for our participants, so they feel more empowered in the field of computer science. For the rest of the Danish society this event was not the solution to get more women to choose an education and a career within computer science.
